Even James Bond could not defeat the loopholes or even crack the intricate code to a room assignment from the office of Resident Life, according to many Morgan State students who struggle to be cleared for on-campus housing. Who is responsible for the confusion, constant phone calls and ridiculously long lines in the building of Resident Life? Do the students prolong the process by submitting their housing applications in an untimely manner or is Resident Life simply unprepared for the multitude of students that apply every year? To point the finger at one particular party will not solve this dilemma; the goal is to discover a feasible solution for this reoccurring issue.

Miley Cyrus and I have a love-hate relationship—not because I actually know her, but because she is plastered all over mainstream media, which makes it seem like she is everywhere. Enrollment deposits came at a record rate for the class of 2012, eventually causing the class to be the largest in AU's history, according to Sharon Alston, interim associate provost for enrollment.
The university could attribute the enrollment spike to many factors, including new admissions marketing initiatives and the national media attention they received in the spring, Alston said.
